Dr. Nadia Haqqie has completed her fellowship in cornea and external disease at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY.

Dr. Haqqie began her academic training by graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biochemistry/Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She received her medical degree, Cum Laude from Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society her junior year. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at Albany Medical College where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.

Dr. Haqqie is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has presented papers at the meetings of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She has also published articles in the numerous periodicals, including Cornea.

Dr. Haqqie specializes in the medical treatment of Cornea/Anterior Segment disease, including corneal transplants, cataract surgery, corneal diseases and Comprehensive Ophthalmology.
