Dr. Parveen Nagra comes to Keystone Eye Associates with over 15 years experience Corneal/External Eye Diseases, Refractive Surgery, and Anterior Segment Surgery of the Eye. Dr. Nagra is a member of the staff at several area hospitals including Wills Eye Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Wills Eye Surgery Center of Cherry Hill, and Wills Eye Surgery Center of Bucks County.
Dr. Nagra graduated with a Biomedical Sciences degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She then received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine. Dr. Nagra completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. She then completed a Fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at Wills Eye Hospital.
Dr. Nagra has published multiple papers involving Corneal Transplants, Penetrating Keratoplasty, and Keratitis. Dr. Nagra has contributed to multiple medical book chapters and is well known for her involvement in the revolutionary new corneal transplant procedure, Sutureless Corneal Transplant. Patients who are candidates for this procedure have faster healing time with vision that quickly improves and less chance of infection and hemorrhage.
