
Dennis Slochower, MD, is Board certified in Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His areas of expertise include Cataract and Intraocular Lens Surgery, Laser Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, and External Diseases of the eye.
Dr. Slochower received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. He completed his medical internship at Framingham Union Hospital/Boston University Medical Center and then completed his residency in Ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City.
Dr. Slochower has authored several articles. He has lectured both nationally and internationally. He has produced several surgical films and received a prestigious award for Innovative Cataract and Implant Techniques from the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Slochower performs his cataract and implant procedures at Liberty Surgical Center located in Northeast Philadelphia and all of his laser vision correction procedures at the Kremer Laser Eye Center in King of Prussia. Both facilities are equipped with the most advanced technology and specially trained staff.
Dr. Slochower is a member of numerous professional organizations and is on staff at the Wills Eye Hospital.
